Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy covers the kalu-care.com website only — specifically the contact form and standard server logs. The Kalu Care mobile app processes different data (care records, tasks, health information) under its own in-app privacy notice, shown during onboarding.
1. Controller
The company operating this website is:
Ingate AG, Gewerbestrasse 9, 6330 Cham, Switzerland
UID: CHE-302.451.651, Commercial Register of the Canton of Zug
Email: info@kalu-care.com
As the controller is based in Switzerland, the Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP) applies in addition to the GDPR, which applies to users in the EU.
2. What we collect
Contact form: first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message.
Server logs: IP address, timestamp, requested page, and browser user agent — collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure for security and abuse prevention.
This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. No tracking scripts from third parties are embedded.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Contact form data is processed to respond to your inquiry, based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures taken at your request).
Server logs are processed based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and operational).
4. Who receives your data
Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) delivers the email generated by the contact form on our behalf, acting as our email service provider.
Netcup GmbH (Germany) hosts the server and therefore processes server log data as part of infrastructure operation.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
5. International transfers
All processors named above are located within the European Union. Because Ingate AG is based in Switzerland, data may also be accessed from Switzerland — a country the European Commission recognizes as providing an adequate level of data protection.
6. Retention
Contact form messages are kept for up to 12 months to handle your inquiry and any follow-up, then deleted. Server logs are rotated automatically after 14 days.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Swiss revFADP you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint — in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with your local data protection supervisory authority.
8. The Kalu Care app
The Kalu Care mobile app processes care-related data — including health information for residents — under a separate in-app privacy notice presented during account setup. That notice, not this page, governs how app data is collected, used, and protected.
